Community Efforts of Health Center Amidst War
The team at Health Center No. 16 in Odesa continues to show solidarity and initiative in charitable activities during the war.
On December 17, the staff of the Center, with the support of the Odesa City Health Department, conducted the thirteenth blood donation drive as part of the «Donor Odesa» project.
Under the leadership of the Center's director, Hanna Pavleha, a group of regular donors has formed, willingly participating to support our defenders and those in need of blood transfusions.
Seventeen employees from Health Center No. 16 took part in the blood donation event. One blood donation can save up to three lives.
The daily demand for donor blood has remained very high since the onset of the war. During this time, thanks to the «Donor Odesa» project, over 14,000 blood donations have been made, saving thousands of lives of both defenders and civilians.
With the support of the city's Department of Information and Digital Solutions, ongoing informational campaigns are conducted to promote blood donation and inform the public about current needs through the official Telegram channel «Odesa.Official», the MISTO mobile application, and other city media resources.
