On October 8, 2025, an extraordinary session of the Odesa City Council was held to address the funding of assistance for residents impacted by the storm.

The council members approved a decision to allocate funds to support those affected by the adverse weather.

Changes were made to the City Program for providing social services, increasing funding by 126.28 million UAH in 2025.

This funding will be directed to district administrations for the disbursement of material aid to individuals affected by the emergency situation caused by the heavy rainfall on September 30.

Affected residents should contact their district administrations to apply for assistance.

Amount of aid:

• for apartments in multi-unit buildings — up to 87,600 UAH;
• for private homes — up to 189,900 UAH.
