Odesa Veterans Participate in Venice Regatta
For the first time in history, a Ukrainian veteran crew from Odesa participated in the historical regatta on the Grand Canal in Venice.
Our brave men, who have faced the frontlines and endured injuries, took to the starting line in a legendary boat to showcase the indomitable spirit of Ukrainian soldiers.
Amidst a sea of colorful boats, historical costumes, gondoliers, and thousands of spectators from around the world, the proud chant of «Glory to Ukraine!» resonated, with Ukrainian flags waving high. This symbolizes that even after losses and trials, Ukrainians have the strength to triumph - both in war and in life.

The historical regatta is not just a sporting event, but a cultural celebration with over 700 years of tradition that attracts countless spectators. The presence of our veterans in Venice was made possible by the support of Venice's mayor, Luigi Brugnaro, and the local community.
