Youth Forum: Shaping the Future Together
On July 21, the Youth Forum «Odesa Youth - 2025-2028» took place. This event brought together young leaders, government representatives, experts, and international partners to discuss the challenges faced by modern youth and their vision for the future.
Among the speakers sharing their insights were former head of the Odesa Regional State Administration, Honorary Citizen of Odesa, Serhiy Hrynevetskyi, head of the UNICEF Ukraine office, Volodymyr Tsololo, head of grant programs at the Ukrainian Youth Fund, Vitaliy Kryzhanivskyi, and Odesa City Council member Oleg Etnarovych.
Participants sought practical solutions to lay the groundwork for youth policy in Odesa:
- How can we engage youth in decision-making?
- What resources and support can we provide?
- How can we protect youth rights in times of war?
- What obstacles do youth face and how can we overcome them?
As Deputy Mayor Pavlo Vuhelman noted, youth is not only the future but also a powerful resource in the present.
«We must do everything to unlock their potential fully. Active youth means a strong Odesa,» he emphasized.
The forum was supported by the UNICEF Ukraine representation, the Youth Council under the Odesa Mayor, the NGO «Youth Organization LIGHT,» and Lavandiia space.
