International Cooperation Forum in Dobroslav
As part of the celebration of Village Day in the Dobroslav community, a significant event occurred — the partner forum 'Open Community - Open World', marking a new step in the development of international and inter-municipal cooperation in the Odessa region.
Over 60 guests and participants attended the forum, featuring three panel discussions with more than 20 speakers from Ukraine and abroad — the United Kingdom, Latvia, Italy, and the Netherlands.
Best practices of community cooperation, new development opportunities, current challenges, and joint projects were discussed.
Following the forum, five partnership memorandums were signed, strengthening the collaboration of the Dobroslav Village Council with other communities and institutions:
- Odessa Region Development Agency
- Cherkasy Village Military Administration (Donetsk region)
- Brusiliv Village Council (Zhytomyr region)
- Pivdenne City Council (Odessa region)
- Shchastyn District Council (Luhansk region)
Representatives from parliament, regional and district authorities, international institutions, the diplomatic corps, scientific, public, charitable, and religious organizations participated in the discussions.
Speakers included members of parliament, diplomats, community leaders, and experts in development, security, international cooperation, and local self-government.
The organizers expressed special gratitude to partners from other regions of Ukraine who traveled to Dobroslav from Kyiv, Zhytomyr, Donetsk, and Luhansk to join the important dialogue about the future of communities.
The forum 'Open Community - Open World' illustrates how local initiative and solidarity contribute to strengthening the region and all of Ukraine.
Together to victory! Together — we are stronger!
