The city launched a tradition of honoring medalists with a special award
A new tradition has been established in Odesa to honor the top graduates of local schools with the mayor's award titled «Pride of Odesa» for their academic excellence.
“Children and youth have always been our greatest asset. They deserve our recognition and support in our welcoming city,” remarked Mayor Hennadiy Trukhanov.
This year, we celebrate almost 700 outstanding students. They are not only the pride of our city but also a great hope for the entire nation.
I hope each of them will find their path and contribute to building a strong and modern Ukraine!” - the mayor added.
The «Pride of Odesa» award is given to students of municipal secondary schools who have achieved high scores of 10 to 12 in their annual assessments and state final certification.
