Experts from the municipal enterprise «SMEP» are engaged in the installation of road bollards and metal posts along pedestrian areas.

These initiatives aim to: 
-     ensure pedestrian safety – prevent vehicles from driving onto sidewalks and green spaces; 
-     organize parking – restrict chaotic parking, especially in narrow areas; 
-     manage traffic flows – the bollards help maintain lane discipline and reduce the risk of accidents. 

According to clause 11.13 of the traffic rules, driving on sidewalks and pedestrian paths is prohibited. Additionally, clause 15.10 states that parking on sidewalks is also forbidden. 

Sidewalks — are designated spaces for pedestrians, elderly individuals, and those with mobility challenges. It is crucial to ensure safety and comfort for pedestrians, especially near healthcare facilities and high pedestrian activity areas.
