National Accessibility Week: Building an Inclusive Future
From May 19 to May 25, 2025, Ukraine is hosting the National Accessibility Week.
Educational institutions are organizing various activities aimed at raising awareness and understanding of accessibility, as well as fostering a tolerant attitude towards individuals with disabilities: accessibility lessons, communication hours, workshops, friendly meetings and tea gatherings, video screenings, thematic exhibitions, dance classes, and masterclasses where students can creatively express their understanding of accessibility.
On May 19, a friendly meeting titled "We Are Just Like Everyone Else" took place at the Odessa Palace of Children's and Youth Creativity "White Acacia".
Participants and guests engaged in masterclasses, intellectual games, and the planting of indoor plants.
