Law enforcement officers detected a poacher who illegally caught 180 kg of fish, resulting in damages to the state exceeding 600 thousand hryvnias. This was reported by the fish protection patrol.

During a raid at Lake Tudorove in the Yas'kiv community, inspectors from the Odessa fish protection patrol, together with border guards and police, found a man who had illegally caught 348 bream, 23 crucians, and one carp from a boat using two nets.

"A protocol was drawn up against the offender for a gross violation of fishing regulations, and materials are being prepared for the initiation of criminal proceedings. The illegal catch, fishing gear, boat, and engine have been seized" - the statement said.
