Two young men, aged 19 and 23, from Eastern Ukraine have been implicated in a criminal case. They attempted to arrange the illegal transportation of a conscripted man across the border for $7,000, planning to keep $6,000 for themselves while offering $1,000 to a border guard for assistance.

The perpetrators sought information about patrol locations from the border guard and proposed ongoing collaboration with fees ranging from $300 to $1,500 per client. However, the border guard reported their offer to his superiors.

As a result of a joint operation, law enforcement detained the criminals during the money transfer. Investigators seized the cash and mobile phones of the suspects. They now face up to nine years in prison and asset confiscation.

The investigation is ongoing, and authorities are continuing to gather evidence against the arrested individuals.
