Arrest of Drug Dealers in Odesa
Law enforcement in Odesa has discovered the illegal activities of two women engaged in drug distribution. During a patrol, a 24-year-old woman was caught in the act while placing 'drops' in a park. Police found 52 packages containing a white crystalline substance in her backpack, which were confirmed to be narcotics. She claimed they were 'salts' intended for sale. Authorities also seized four packages she had already placed and her mobile phone, which contained evidence of her criminal activities.
The second woman, a 55-year-old resident of the Bereziv district, was growing cannabis in her greenhouse. During a search, officers found 26 dried plants and another 16 still growing. Approximately 2 kg of suspicious plant material was also seized.
All substances have been sent for examination. The younger woman was arrested and charged with illegal drug possession with intent to sell. The court has ordered her detention. The second woman is also facing criminal charges, and the investigation is ongoing.
