Woman Arrested for Drug Dealing in Bolgrad

A woman was apprehended in Bolgrad while distributing psychotropic substances. She has been charged and is subject to a preventive measure. Her actions could lead to a prison sentence of up to ten years, along with asset confiscation.
During an evening patrol, police noticed a 36-year-old woman hiding psychotropic drugs in various locations. Officers seized 53 packages directly from her, along with an additional 49 packages from her designated hiding spots.
A rapid test confirmed the presence of PVP, a dangerous and prohibited substance. All samples were sent for further analysis to determine their exact weight.
Authorities also confiscated her mobile phone, which contained evidence of her illegal activities.
Investigators found that the woman had purchased the drugs through a messaging app from an unidentified supplier. She documented the locations of the drugs with photos and geolocation, sending this information to an accomplice who relayed it to buyers after receiving payments.
Colonel Roman Mykhailov stated that the "dealer" was arrested in a procedural manner. Based on the evidence collected, she was charged under Part 2 of Article 307 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine, which carries a penalty of up to 10 years for the illegal acquisition, storage, and distribution of particularly dangerous psychotropic substances.
The court has ordered her detention, allowing for bail set at 242,240 UAH, which she has not utilized.
Police are investigating the supply chain of the psychotropic substances and identifying all individuals involved in this criminal scheme.
The pre-trial investigation is ongoing under the supervision of the Bolgrad District Prosecutor's Office.
