Recent conflicts in the Odesa region have led to two individuals sustaining stab wounds. The first incident involved a 54-year-old man who, while drinking with a 51-year-old acquaintance, stabbed him during an argument over insults.
In a second case, a 36-year-old stepson stabbed his 58-year-old stepfather during a dispute about finances, also using a kitchen knife.
Both victims were hospitalized with serious injuries. Law enforcement apprehended the suspects and seized evidence, including knives.
The investigation is ongoing, and the accused face up to eight years in prison for intentional grievous bodily harm.
