In the city of Izmail, police are investigating a road incident. The event occurred today, October 10, in the morning at the intersection of Telehrafna and Topolna streets.
Preliminary reports indicate that a 64-year-old driver of a car, traveling along Telehrafna Street, collided with a cyclist who was turning left onto Topolna Street.
Unfortunately, the cyclist died at the scene. The identity of the deceased is currently being established.
The car driver was unharmed and is undergoing a sobriety test.
A response team from the patrol police and investigators are on-site.
