On the evening of September 13, a tragic accident took place on the Odessa - Reni road.
According to Dmitry Slyuta, head of the transport crime investigation department, a 33-year-old motorcyclist lost control and collided with a car driven by a 35-year-old man traveling in the same direction.
The motorcyclist died as a result of the collision, while the car driver was unharmed. A sobriety test revealed that he was sober.
An investigative team from the local police department, along with emergency services, responded to the scene.
Authorities have registered the incident in the Unified Register of Pre-Trial Investigations under Article 286 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine, concerning violations of traffic safety rules resulting in death.
Police are urging drivers to adhere strictly to traffic regulations, not to exceed speed limits, and to be vigilant on the roads.
