Crackdown on Drug Crimes in Odesa Region
Several districts in the Odesa region have witnessed significant police operations. These efforts involved the narcotics enforcement officers from the local police department and other operational units.
Authorities discovered cannabis plantations on private properties and in forested areas.
During the investigations, almost 2000 cannabis plants, over 2 kg of cannabis, irrigation systems, mobile phones, and cash in various currencies were seized, along with other items pertinent to the investigation.
All confiscated materials have been sent for forensic examination as part of criminal proceedings under articles 309, 307, and 310 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine.
Following the results, the authorities will decide whether to notify the suspects.
Investigative actions are ongoing under the guidance of the Odesa city prosecutor's office and other regional authorities.
