Officers from the Drug Crime Unit, in collaboration with Police Department No. 5 of Odessa, documented the illegal activities of a local resident.

It was established that the drugs were being sold through an online store, with the suspect handling the packaging and shipping of parcels nationwide.

Police apprehended the drug dealer on a street in the Primorsky district, where he was carrying 23 plastic bags filled with clothing and toys, which he claimed contained hidden packages of the psychotropic substance “Alfa PVP” and the drug “mefedrone.” He intended to send these to customers, receiving payment via a cryptocurrency wallet.

During a search at the suspect's residence, authorities discovered an additional 13 packets of synthetic and plant-based substances similar to those he planned to ship. The narcotic content of one was tested with an express test.

All seized substances were directed for examination to determine their exact weight and origin. The total value of the confiscated drugs may exceed 1.2 million UAH based on black market prices.

As material evidence, investigators also seized the dealer's mobile phone, 29 starter packages from various mobile operators he used for communication secrecy, as well as scales and packaging materials.

According to investigator Gennady Grozov, after gathering sufficient evidence, the suspect was charged under part 3 of article 307 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine for the illegal acquisition, storage, and distribution of narcotics in particularly large quantities.
The court has currently chosen to impose a preventive measure of detention with the possibility of bail set at 908,400 UAH. The accused faces up to twelve years of imprisonment with asset confiscation.

The police are continuing to identify the full circle of individuals involved in the drug trafficking operation during the investigation. Investigative actions are ongoing under the procedural guidance of the Primorsky District Prosecutor's Office in Odessa.
