During a dispute after a gathering, one participant stabbed another.

This was reported by law enforcement.

The incident occurred in June of last year. Investigators established that a quarrel broke out at the home of a 39-year-old man in a village of the Tairovo community with a 30-year-old acquaintance after a joint celebration. During the conflict, the guest grabbed a knife and stabbed the host in the back.

Realizing the gravity of his actions, the assailant called the police and an ambulance. Upon arrival, the medical team confirmed the victim's death. According to the forensic examination, the cause of death was acute blood loss due to a stab wound to the chest.

The suspect was detained in accordance with legal procedures. The court subsequently ordered his detention.

During the pre-trial investigation, overseen by the local prosecutor's office, police gathered sufficient evidence of the suspect's illegal actions and charged him with murder, defined as the intentional infliction of death on another person.

The indictment under Article 115 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine was sent to court. At the trial, the accused admitted his guilt, blaming alcohol. After reviewing the evidence and considering the defendant's sincere remorse, the court found him guilty and sentenced him to eight years in prison.
