A horrific murder has taken place in the Kuyalnik community, with a suspect detained who faces up to 15 years of imprisonment.

Recently, police received a report from villagers about a man's body found on the road.

A forensic expert who examined the body discovered signs of violence. Preliminary findings suggest that death was caused by traumatic shock due to internal injuries. The body was sent for further examination to clarify the circumstances.

Officers quickly identified the victim as a 25-year-old man who was visiting a friend. During the gathering, a conflict arose between them, leading to a fight. The host brutally beat the guest, dragged his body away from the house, and left him on the road.

“We classified this incident as intentional murder. Under the procedural guidance of the prosecutor's office, we charged the suspect. This crime is punishable by up to 15 years in prison. The suspect was detained, and the court imposed a preventive measure of detention,” stated Oleg Zhukovsky, head of the Podilsk District Police Department.

The pre-trial investigation is ongoing.
