Quoted: "According to the case materials, these local residents, recruited by the FSB, were carrying out orders for the Russian Federation, with the youngest being just 13 years old. They came to the attention of the occupiers while searching for a "quick profit" in Telegram channels. Initially, the suspects coordinated potential "targets" with their handlers and then destroyed them using flammable mixtures."
Details: Specifically, in the Dnipropetrovsk region, two minors from the city of Samara were arrested for burning several relay cabinets that regulate train movement.
They were also planning to locate and set fire to official vehicles of Ukrainian defenders, but they were apprehended "in hot pursuit" after their railway crimes.
In Odesa, two more youths aged 17 and 18, along with a 27-year-old resident of Chornomorsk, were arrested for separately fulfilling orders from Russia.
The offenders destroyed three relay cabinets of Ukrainian Railways and a military SUV undergoing maintenance after completing frontline tasks.
Additionally, in Chernihiv, a 24-year-old welder from a local service station was arrested while attempting to set fire to a Ukrainian soldier's vehicle, staging it to look like it was done by "outsiders" who broke in at night.
SBU employees acted proactively, detaining the criminal just as he was preparing a flammable substance for the act.
All suspects have been informed of suspicion regarding their committed crimes under the relevant articles of the Criminal Code.
The offenders are currently in custody, and the matter of holding the 13-year-old accountable is still being resolved.
