A New Era in Education: The Mriya Ecosystem
In 2025, the Mriya educational ecosystem will welcome 2,000 educational institutions from various regions of Ukraine. Mriya will provide students, parents, and teachers with new opportunities to enhance the educational process.
In September 2024, Mriya began its pilot phase in six regions of Ukraine, including frontline cities and remote villages, as well as schools utilizing fully remote learning or offline education in shelters. We tested the system and made improvements. Now, Mriya is available for all schools in the country.
Mriya enables teachers to automate their processes—from curriculum planning to scheduling and grading—while also allowing them to share notes and comments with students and communicate with children and parents in secure chat rooms.
Soon, teachers will also be able to automatically generate tests using AI, receive completed homework, and create inter-class groups.
For students, Mriya means access to schedules, homework, a personalized content library, and performance tracking right from their smartphones. Additionally, an internal currency—mriyky—has been introduced, which children can exchange for various rewards such as movie tickets, workshops, and VR quests.
Parents in Mriya will have a complete overview of their child's achievements, monitor their progress, and soon will also have the option to choose extracurricular activities based on their child's interests near home or school.
How to Join Mriya
Mriya is available for every school, regardless of its size or educational format. Joining Mriya is free and voluntary.
To take advantage of the educational ecosystem, schools need to apply through the Mriya website at mriia.gov.ua/app.
Currently, 150 schools are already connected to Mriya, and 1,000 new applications are being processed.
The Mriya team is also working on developing solutions for preschool institutions, which will integrate the two stages of education into a single digital system for the convenience of parents and educators.
Mriya is a state educational ecosystem that integrates all elements of learning, providing students, parents, and teachers with access to all the necessary tools for an effective educational process.
Mriya is an initiative of the President of Ukraine, Volodymyr Zelensky, implemented by the Ministry of Digital Transformation and the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine in collaboration with the EGAP Program, executed by the Eastern Europe Foundation with the support of Switzerland.
