Students from Odesa Shine at National Physics Olympiad

Students from Odesa returned from the national physics Olympiad with silver and bronze medals. All winners are from the Richelieu Scientific Lyceum, who excelled among 150 participants from various regions. This was reported by Alexander Lonchak, the head of the education department of Odesa Regional State Administration.

Silver diplomas were awarded to Nazarij Vraschuk (10th grade, competed as an 11th grader) and Yuriy Semenov-Hamarov (10th grade). Third place was taken by Kostiantyn Bordiian (9th grade), Dmytro Loshkaruk, and Lev Shevchenko (8th grade). Nazarij Vraschuk, one of the winners, also received an invitation to the selection training for the Ukrainian national team to participate in the International Physics Olympiad.

The contribution of physics teachers from the Richelieu Lyceum – Andrii Katz, Vadym Manakin, and Oksana Kolesnikova – was also recognized for their role in preparing the prizewinners for the competition.
