New Learning Opportunities for Children: Digital Educational Centers in Odesa
As part of the project «Development of Digital Learning Platforms for Children and Youth» at Odesa Lyceum No. 9 and No. 65, new Digital Educational Centers DLC No. 27 and No. 28 have been established.
These centers provide children with a variety of educational activities:
- testing to assess knowledge levels in school subjects using advanced technology;
- addressing learning gaps through group classes in subjects such as mathematics, history, languages, physics, biology, etc.;
- children will have the opportunity to play board games, the educational game «Minecraft», watch movies, and socialize with peers;
- specialists will conduct «Life Lessons» – training sessions on digital literacy, cybersecurity, psychological resilience, and financial literacy;
- psychologists will offer support during individual and group sessions;
- children can learn about their interests and receive career recommendations during orientation testing;
- planned educational activities, workshops, festivals, and flash mobs.
The centers will operate even during holidays, offering classes to help mitigate educational losses.
The goal of the Digital Educational Centers (DLC) is to ensure continuous learning, support for children and their parents, and enhance teachers' professional skills. All activities are related to the implementation of modern technologies.
The project is implemented in collaboration with UNICEF with the support of the Government of Japan.
