Transparent Schools Initiative: A Path to Integrity
The Office of Integrity of the National Agency for Corruption Prevention (NAPK) has launched an innovative project called «Transparent School» to transform the educational environment by implementing new educational materials and enhancing the integrity of schools.
On October 29, 2024, at the Odesa Lyceum «European», the project «Transparent School: Path to Integrity» was presented to school principals.
At the meeting, Serhiy Hupyak, Deputy Head of NAPK, emphasized the importance of fostering integrity and active educational initiatives, developing new teaching materials, and transforming the educational landscape in schools.
Participants discussed how to effectively and engagingly explain the concepts of corruption and integrity to children and how to practically apply this knowledge in everyday life.
Attendees actively deliberated on the role of educational institutions in shaping zero tolerance for corruption and outlined mechanisms that could help promote integrity and prevent corruption risks.
Alona Khylko, the project manager at the Office of Integrity, presented the project «Transparent School: Path to Integrity».
Additionally, they discussed the organization of educational work in Odesa's institutions with a focus on preventing offenses.
