New Meal Program for Students in Odesa
A new meal program has been initiated for students in grades 1-4 in Odesa. Two districts are already implementing this initiative, while two others are finalizing their tender processes.
Today, November 14, Odesa's mayor, Hennadiy Trukhanov, visited one of the largest schools in the Kyiv district to inspect the meal organization and engage with students and parents.
Additionally, the mayor participated in a training drill demonstrating how to respond during alarms. Recently, the school completed expansion works for its shelter.
"Every day, nearly 2000 children study here, attending classes in shifts to comply with safety requirements. Until now, the school's shelter accommodated only 250 people, which was insufficient. A decision was made to expand it, and now it can house twice as many individuals", - concluded Mayor Hennadiy Trukhanov.
