Artistic Initiative to Support Soldiers
During October and November 2024, the Municipal Institution of Extracurricular Education «Odesa City Center for Choreographic Arts» hosted a charity artistic project titled «Open Your Hands for Good» and a nationwide seminar-workshop on «Stylization of Ukrainian Folk Dance and Methodological Approaches to Teaching Modern Dance Styles in Choreographic Groups».
The event was organized in partnership with the National Choreographic Union of Ukraine and the Odesa Regional Organization of the National Choreographic Union of Ukraine.
Funds raised from ticket sales for the concert «Open Your Hands for Good» were allocated for the purchase of essential equipment and materials for soldiers undergoing treatment and rehabilitation in medical facilities in Odesa.
The seminar's program included master classes from leading experts in choreography, demonstration lessons, and discussions on important issues regarding the methodology of teaching modern dance styles in children's choreographic groups.
All participants in the seminar received certificates of professional development.
