Student leaders from Odessa’s public schools held the inaugural meeting of the High School Parliament for the 2024/2025 academic year.

During the meeting, students reviewed the Parliament's activities for the 2023/2024 year. The most active members received certificates from the Odessa City Council's Department of Education and Science.

Attending were graduates and past Parliament members who came to support the new candidates and share their experiences.

Following this year’s voting, Alina Dildina (Kyiv District), Yelizaveta Buzinovska (Primorsky District), Milena Mala (Khadzhybei District), and Daria Boyarska (Peresyp District) were elected to the Presidium of the High School Parliament for the 2024/2025 academic year.

Leaders from district parliaments will join the Youth Council under the Odessa Mayor and represent the interests of Odessa's youth while participating in the formation of the city's youth policy.

During the meeting, projects planned for the 2024/2025 academic year were approved. The Parliament's focus areas include protecting socially vulnerable groups, promoting a healthy lifestyle, ecological initiatives, cultural and charitable events, volunteering, and more.
