13 November 2025

In Odesa and Izmail, law enforcement officers engaged with prospective students, introducing them to the opportunities within the National Police of Ukraine. During an open day at a vocational college, forensic specialists demonstrated to high school students how they operate at crime scenes, showcasing tools for evidence collection and fingerprint kits.
Participants observed the process of taking fingerprints and learned how evidence is transferred for further analysis.
The police emphasized that the accuracy of collecting evidence is crucial to solving crimes.
«With modern forensic equipment, we can accurately document every detail at the scene, ensuring a fair investigation», — noted police major Tetiana Skyrtenko.
In Izmail, recruitment officers met with students to discuss career opportunities in the police force. «We are looking for motivated young individuals ready to meet today's challenges», — highlighted senior inspector Tetiana Artemenko-Holod.
These meetings help young people familiarize themselves with police work and make informed career choices.
