Free Access to Google AI Pro Tools for Ukrainian Students
Starting October 8, students in Ukraine will have a free annual subscription to Gemini and Google AI Pro tools.
This was announced by Mykhailo Fedorov, the First Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Digital Transformation, via Telegram.
«Students need modern tools to learn more effectively and develop skills. From today, Google offers students over 18 years old a free annual subscription to the Google AI Pro toolkit,» the message states.
Thus, students from Ukrainian universities will gain access to the following services:

- Deep Research – a tool that independently analyzes hundreds of sources and produces structured reports, saving hours on coursework or essays;
- NotebookLM – a personal assistant for organizing knowledge and notes, now with enhanced audio and video analysis capabilities;
- Veo 3 – converts text or images into 8-second videos with sound;
- Jules – an AI assistant for programming, helping to write, test, and improve code;
- 2 TB of cloud storage – ample space for all notes, documents, and projects.
To participate in the program, registration on the website is required.
