Charity Fair Supporting the Armed Forces in Odesa
On September 30, Odesa Gymnasium No. 125 located in Slobodka held its annual fair.
#Coffee_with_Education — a warm event that brought together educators, students, and parents.
This year's fair was special: the school, which suffered from enemy attacks last year, has come back to life and symbolically responded to the aggressor by raising funds for the Armed Forces.
Every penny goes towards combat medics: for tourniquets, bandaging materials, and medicines.
The school hosted a true Ukrainian fair with aromatic coffee, homemade delicacies, children's performances, workshops, and heartfelt hugs.
«This is a very important event. Students, parents, and teachers are all working together to do good. And all the funds raised are for the support of our military,» stated the mayor Gennady Trukhanov.
Since 2015, ahead of Teacher's Day, the educational community of Odesa has been conducting a marathon of good deeds: schools and kindergartens organize performances, workshops, and fairs to raise funds for the needs of military personnel, the wounded, and internally displaced persons. During this time, more than 10 million hryvnias have been raised, which have been directed towards drones, electronic warfare equipment, clothing, stoves, boats, cars, and most importantly — for life.
