Celebrating French Literature in Odesa
As part of the French literature week in Odesa, the Central City Library named after I. Franko organized a literary evening titled «Everyone Has Their Stars», dedicated to the anniversary of Antoine de Saint-Exupéry, the author of «The Little Prince».
The event also featured the awarding of winners from the national reading competition focused on the tale «The Little Prince». The competition attracted around 100 participants from across Ukraine.
Fans of Saint-Exupéry's work sent in videos reciting excerpts from «The Little Prince» in both Ukrainian and French. The winners presented their works and received certificates and prizes.
Additionally, the event's atmosphere was enhanced by performances from vocalists Sofia Mardarenco and Anastasia Yeryomenko from the Arts School No. 13 of Odesa, bard Anatoliy Sebov, and poet Vyacheslav Slysharchuk, who read poems dedicated to Saint-Exupéry.
