New Online Course on Information Hygiene for Teens
Today’s teenagers are constantly influenced by social media and often fail to recognize that some content is intentionally manipulative or misleading.
In Ukraine, a free educational course focused on information hygiene has been launched to assist young people in safeguarding themselves online.
The course is designed like a computer game, featuring vibrant characters, quests, and rewards. It can be accessed from a computer, tablet, or smartphone. After completing the course, participants can revisit lessons or tasks at any time.
The course is developed by Oksana Moroz, a researcher on information influence and the author of the book “How Not to Become a Vegetable,” and Kateryna Goltzberg, a child and family psychologist and president of the Professional Association of Child Analytical Psychologists.
The educational course is available online through the interactive platform Unicorn School. Register here: https://unicorn.itstep.org/infohygiene-training-course
