New Initiative to Support Children's Education During Crisis

11 June 2025

Every child deserves access to quality education, regardless of their circumstances. Due to war and forced displacement, many students have lost the opportunity to learn effectively.

By helping them catch up, educators not only bolster their confidence and motivation but also aid in better socialization — rebuilding connections with peers and fostering a sense of security.

In June, diagnostic assessments are conducted in educational institutions in Odessa to identify educational gaps among students. These efforts include additional classes, consultations, and group work aimed at enhancing material comprehension.

To address the educational losses of younger students, the program “KECH” has been established — a project by the NGO “Go Global” aimed at supporting primary school children who have lost knowledge due to the war. The goal is to provide schools with effective tools for adaptive and intensive teaching.

This project is implemented with the support of UNICEF in Ukraine, Global Partnership for Education (GPE), and the Animagrad studio (FILM.UA Group).
