Kyivstar Granted Approval to Acquire Tabletki.ua

30 January 2026

The Antitrust Committee of Ukraine has authorized PrAT "Kyivstar" to gain control over the owner of the Tabletki.ua service, LLC "MTPK".
This decision was made on January 29, 2026.

It is noteworthy that in 2022 Kyivstar acquired a controlling stake in the digital healthcare platform Helsi, and in May 2025, increased its stake in Helsi from 69.99% to 97.99%.

The first intentions of Kyivstar to purchase Tabletki.ua became known in early 2025. According to the Antitrust Committee, Kyivstar submitted a request to acquire the online service in November 2024, but the regulator did not approve this request. In February 2025, the company again approached the Antitrust Committee with a new application to purchase LLC "MTPK".

In August 2025, the Antitrust Committee noted that if the search systems Helsi and Tabletki.ua were concentrated, their combined market shares could exceed 35%, potentially leading to monopolization. However, on January 29, 2026, the regulator approved the deal.

Tabletki.ua is an online service where users can find and reserve medications at pharmacies. Founded in 2010, this service has nearly 10 million users and allows price comparison for medications. The Muravshchik brothers, Oleksandr and Yevhen, own 56% of LLC "MTPK", and the service collaborates with 12,000 pharmacies.

According to Forbes Ukraine, the value of Tabletki.ua may reach $30-80 million, due to the high profitability of the business. In 2024, the company's net profit margin was 89%.

Recently, there were rumors regarding Kyivstar's plans to acquire a stake in the COMFY network, but this deal, according to sources, will not take place.
