Celebration of Unity at Odesa Zoo
Odesa Zoo was the venue for a vibrant celebration dedicated to Flag Day and Independence Day of Ukraine.
The little visitors enjoyed a variety of activities: fun games, contests, free face painting, workshops, and delicious ice cream. In one of the workshops, children along with their parents left colorful handprints on a map of Ukraine.
Moreover, entertainers amused the children with a bubble show, creating an atmosphere of joy and fun.
Odesa Zoo extends its gratitude to the NGO “Free and Faithful”, the exemplary choreographic group “Fairy Tale”, and the Seraphim Sarovsky Children's Fund for their assistance in organizing the celebration.
Additionally, a festive concert was held on Deribasivska Street to mark Flag Day and Independence Day of Ukraine.
The concert featured: the orchestra of the military academy “Studio-117”, the exemplary choreographic studio Dance drum show, a combined choir, which included the exemplary choir “Cantilena” of the S.K. Kryzhanovskyi Music School and the senior choir “Allegro” of the music school No. 2 named after O.K. Glazunov, teams from the Odesa City Center of Choreographic Arts, bands: THE NIKAS, PortMone, “Friend Music”, and the ensemble “Slavs”. The host of the event was Dmytro Bohomolov.
Such events not only inspire but also unite Ukrainians, reminding them of the importance of unity and patriotism during this challenging time for the country.
