Poetry and Sweetness Celebration in Odesa
On March 9, an intriguing event named «Poetry and Sweetness Celebration» took place in Odesa's Shevchenko Park, organized by the public organization «State Defense». This occasion was dedicated to the birthday of the renowned Ukrainian poet Taras Shevchenko.
Residents and visitors of Odesa gathered to recite the verses of the Kobzar with enthusiasm. Each participant received delicious candies as a reward for their performances.
The organizers noted that the event attracted people of various ages. Both adults and children participated, creating a joyful and welcoming atmosphere.
Olexiy Zemlyany, the head of the Odesa branch of the «State Defense» organization, congratulated everyone on the celebration and expressed hope that Shevchenko's verses would inspire Ukrainians towards unity and renewal. The event concluded with famous lines from the poet about the future of Ukraine.
