Celebrating Musical Excellence: Winners of the Piano Competition

On February 28, 2025, the Odesa Literary Museum's Golden Hall hosted the awards ceremony and concert for the winners of the III International Piano Music Competition dedicated to the works of J.S. Bach. Young musicians from Odesa, Kyiv, Dnipro, Myrgorod, Ivano-Frankivsk, and even China participated in the competition.

The main goal of the competition is to support talented students from specialized artistic educational institutions, to foster the national tradition of the piano school, to promote polyphonic works by Ukrainian composers, and to enhance the polyphonic skills of young pianists.

“This unique competition, held for the third consecutive year, unites us through the music of the brilliant German composer Johann Bach. Events like this strengthen ties between cultural institutions in Odesa and Europe,” said Ivan Liptuga, Director of the Department of International Cooperation, Culture, and Marketing of the Odesa City Council.

The laureates showcased their remarkable skills in performing J.S. Bach's compositions. The winners received diplomas and awards.

The competition was established by the Department of International Cooperation, Culture, and Marketing of the Odesa City Council.
The organizer is the Odesa School of Arts No. 3.
