To enhance awareness of the Ukrainian language among the residents of Odesa, a social advertising competition titled «Promoting the Ukrainian Language» will run from October 29 to November 29, 2024.

The primary aim of this competition is to encourage the spread of the Ukrainian language, foster respect and love for it, highlight its beauty, increase interest in its study, and promote a sense of national pride among the youth of the Odesa community.

The competition will be conducted in two phases:
Phase I - submission of works;
Phase II - evaluation by the jury and determination of winners.

To participate, please send an application to the email address of the Department of Internal Policy of the Odesa City Council: dep_vp@omr.gov.ua (with the subject «Social Advertising Competition»).

Requirements for the works:
1. Technical specifications:
- posters can be created graphically or drawn.

2. Works must be original and unpublished.

3. When submitting works, participants must adhere to the following conditions:
- content must comply with Ukrainian legislation;
- text should be concise, original, and impactful;
- emotional expression (using color, fonts, drawings, graphics, etc.);
- information must be accurate;
- works must fit the competition theme;

4. Submissions must not include:
- authors' names, contact information, commercial data, religious symbols, political references;
- depictions of violence, discrimination, vandalism;
- information that undermines the dignity of individuals or groups;
- promotion of harmful habits;
- infringement of intellectual property rights;

5. Works must be in Ukrainian.

6. Materials must not violate laws or moral standards.

7. Works must not infringe on privacy rights.

8. By submitting works, participants consent to the processing of personal data in accordance with Ukrainian law.

9. By sending in their works, participants confirm their authorship and bear responsibility for copyright compliance.

10. Works that are:
- non-compliant with requirements;
- plagiarized;
- submitted after the deadline will not be accepted.
