Artistic Initiative for Military Support
During October and November 2024, the Municipal Extracurricular Educational Institution “Odesa City Center for Choreographic Art” hosted a charity art project titled “Open Your Hands for Good” along with a nationwide seminar-workshop called “Styling Ukrainian Folk-Stage Dance and Methodological Approaches to Teaching Modern Dance Styles in Choreographic Groups.”
The event was organized in collaboration with the National Choreographic Union of Ukraine and the Odesa regional organization of the same union.
The funds raised from ticket sales for the concert “Open Your Hands for Good” were allocated for purchasing essential equipment and materials for military personnel undergoing treatment and rehabilitation in medical facilities in Odesa.
The seminar program featured master classes from leading experts in choreography, demonstration lessons, and discussions on contemporary teaching methods for dance in children's choreographic groups.
All participants received certificates of professional development upon completion of the seminar.
