Conference on Accessibility in Odessa

28 November 2024

The conference titled «Odessa Accessible for Everyone» will take place on December 5, 2024.

The primary aim of the event is to unite the efforts of local authorities and businesses to foster a barrier-free environment in the tourism and hospitality industry.

This is a pressing issue identified by the National Tourism Organization of Ukraine as a key focus for 2024. Despite the challenges posed by the war, Odessa continues to attract both local and international tourists, making it crucial to enhance infrastructure accessibility and inclusivity in tourism.

The special guest of the forum will be Oleksandr Budko, a Ukrainian serviceman and veteran of the Russo-Ukrainian war, who lost both of his limbs during the 2022 counteroffensive. He remains active in advocating for inclusion and veteran support. Oleksandr is a medalist at the «Invictus Games 2023» in swimming and the author of an autobiographical novel.

Representatives from hotels, restaurants, museums, theaters, medical institutions, and tour guides are invited to participate, along with anyone interested in fostering an inclusive environment.

Registration for the forum can be completed via this link.

Registration is open until November 29, 2024, and spaces are limited. Registration is also available via a QR code.
