Celebration Concert of the "Zabava" Choir in Odessa
On December 19, a festive concert took place at the Odessa Philharmonic featuring the exemplary choir "Zabava" from Art School No. 3, celebrating 25 years of artistic achievement.
The Director of the Department of Culture, International Cooperation, and European Integration, Ivan Liptuga, congratulated the young performers and presented them with awards.
«It is vital for young musicians to step onto the big stage from childhood, growing and evolving alongside masters of their craft. Recently, a cultural project called "Odessa. U-NEXT" was held at the Opera House, uniting art schools in Odessa and showcasing the synergy of basic, intermediate, and higher music education. This is how stars of Odessa are born», - noted Ivan Liptuga.
During the concert, the "Zabava" choir performed alongside the Chamber Orchestra of the Odessa Regional Philharmonic named after D. Oistrakh (conductor - Vladimir Dykij).
The young artists demonstrated their virtuosity under the guidance of Svitlana Smirnova. The concert also featured renowned musicians and singers who have collaborated with the choir for many years.
The children's choir "Zabava" has reaffirmed its title of "Exemplary".
