On December 24, a remarkable event took place at the Odessa Zoo – the transfer of the Bethlehem Peace Flame, brought to our city by Raisa Kraieva, the leader of the "Samotsvit" club.

The Bethlehem Peace Flame is an international scout event held annually before Christmas. Its main goal is to spread the flame, lit at the birthplace of Jesus Christ, to various parts of the world. This flame symbolizes good deeds and support.

Representatives of the Black Sea Fleet of Young Sailors and volunteers were also present at the event.

During the meeting, mutual greetings for the holiday were exchanged, along with many warm words and sincere wishes for peace.

The initiative was organized by Elena Alexeyenko, an honored worker of culture in Ukraine.
